What is event management?   

So what is event management, before getting into event management let us understand what does management is all about. Its just conducting a series of planned actions leading to a successful episode of execution. For every other person management is different in different circumstances which can be either simple or complex and the person who performs it is manager.

Now an event management can be explained as the procedure of creating and facilitating an event. An event can be a wedding,a birthday party, a ceremony, an exhibition,a tournament,a concert or convection, and the person who handles it is known as event manager. An event manager exhibits many actions to execute his plan and also strategize at every step of execution and post execution. Different activities of an event manager includes planning, organising, budgeting, managing sales and promotion, finalizing location or venues, managing staff , be present at the time of event and manage post event requirements if any. 

 As per wiki –Event management is the application of project management to the creation and development of small and/or large-scale personal or corporate events such as festivals, conferences, ceremonies, weddings, formal parties, concerts, or conventions. It involves studying the brand, identifying its target audience, devising the event concept, and coordinating the technical aspects before actually launching the event.gi
